About this procedure
A home sleep apnea test — a take-home device you wear overnight to detect obstructive sleep apnea. The cheaper alternative to an in-lab study.
What to expect
You pick up the device at the clinic or it's mailed to you. Wear the sensors (chest strap, finger probe, nasal cannula) one night while sleeping at home. Return it the next day. Results in 1-2 weeks. Best for typical sleep apnea symptoms (snoring, witnessed pauses); complex sleep disorders still need an in-lab study (95810).
