About this procedure
An attended polysomnography — an overnight sleep study with a technician monitoring you in a sleep lab. Diagnoses sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and other sleep disorders.
What to expect
You arrive in the evening, get fitted with sensors on your scalp, face, and chest, and sleep in a private room. The tech monitors all night. Cost varies 5-10x between hospital sleep labs and independent centers. Home sleep tests (95800) are typically far cheaper for suspected sleep apnea.
